Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 August 2026

FollowLens has no server. Nothing it collects ever leaves your device. This entire policy is the detail behind those two sentences.

What we collect

Nothing — on our side. FollowLens has no backend, no analytics, no crash reporting and no account system. When you start a scan, the follower and following lists it collects are written to your browser's own IndexedDB database, on your device, and stay there.

What is stored on your device

Permissions, and why each is needed

Network requests

FollowLens only ever makes requests to the platform you already have open — the same requests your own scrolling would make. It connects to no other address. There are no third-party scripts, trackers, pixels or font CDNs — in the extension or on this site, whose typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google.

Deleting your data

You can delete a single account's history, or wipe everything, from Settings. Removing the extension also deletes all of the browser storage belonging to it. Because no copy exists anywhere else, deletion is final.

Children

FollowLens is not directed at users under 13, and collects no personal data of any kind, including age.

Changes to this policy

If this page changes, the date above changes with it. The policy's history is public in the repository, like the rest of the site.
